I’m not a pastor, nor am I a biblical scholar.
But I am a follower of Jesus Christ.
There have been times I’ve prayed — truly and deeply — for things I thought I needed. But in hindsight, I realized they were not aligned with God’s will for me. Sometimes God allowed me to have it anyway, and I learned the hard way why He said no in the first place.
Over time, I came to understand: it’s not about bending God to my will — it’s about surrendering my will to His.

As I look at our country today, I see a nation divided — not just politically, but spiritually. Everyone is certain they are right. But what if, instead of asking God to take our side, we surrendered and chose to take His side by asking Him to have His way?
That’s what this is.
This is 1 Under God — a simple invitation to come together as followers of Jesus Christ and pray, not for what we want, but for what God wills. Across denominations, backgrounds, and perspectives, let’s unite in humble surrender.
